VALUE SCOUT’s main activities can be articulated as follows:
  • Through its wide dissemination activities over the entire project life cycle VALUE SCOUT established a Network of Stakeholders i.e. the short-listing of a representative number of experts in the field and the animation of their interaction in identifying a set of guidelines and key recommendations, as regards the effective running of sports and culture related activities for value building in school education and beyond.


  • During the project life cycle 3 Expert Seminars and the closing European VALUE SCOUT Workshop & Conference were held:
  • 1st VALUE SCOUT Expert Seminar, Athens, Greece, 1 March 2005
    “Greetings from the stands: the Paradox of building Values through Sports and Cultural Education”
    .
  • 2nd VALUE SCOUT Expert Seminar, Brussels, Belgium 21 October 2005
    “Benchmarking Values: Helping Policy-Makers, Practitioners & Evaluators to do the Right Thing”
    .
  • 3rd VALUE SCOUT Expert Seminar, Brussels, Belgium 29 September 2006
    “Defining Good Practice for Sports and Culture in Education”
    .
  • European VALUE SCOUT Conference & Workshop, Athens, Greece, 12 – 14 November 2006
    “Values, Identities & Citizenship: The Contribution of Culture, Sports and Education”.
