In September 25-27, 2003, the 6th International Conference on "Valuing
Learning - Learning Valuing" will be held in Helsinki, Finland organised by KVS Foundation, Finnish Adult Education Research Society and Association of Finnish Adult Education Centres KTOL. The topic under study revolves around some critical questions referring to Learning such as: what is the value of learning? Where and how do we learn valuing? It’s not only about learning to do things right but also learning to learn and do the right things. Is learning a value in itself or is it a tool to achieve something else? The conference addresses all those who make decisions concerning their own and other people’s access to and interest in learning, (Teachers, administrators, policy makers etc).
